EEI Manufacturing Services offers Total Product Support as an Enhanced Electronic Manufacturing Services provider.

Founded in 1993, EEI has proven infrastructure, processes, program management and technical skills, to successfully incorporate our products and services to primes or subcontractors for peacetime and mission critical operations in support of the war fighter.

EEI’s current state of technologies includes;
State of the art facilities and equipment to take Circuit Card Assembly designs to production utilizing rigid & rigid-flexible PCBs
? Flexible production environment and infrastructure
? Engineering Services - Computer Automated Design Layout, CAD Documentation Packages
? Full supply chain management including source selection, ordering, storage and obsolescence management.
? High & low volume Surface Mount Technology & through-hole production including Ball Grid Array, Micro-BGA and Chip Scale Package.
o X-Ray technology for inspection of Ball Grid Array solder joints
o Placement system capable of placing devices of package size from 0402 to 2 inches square with lead pitch down to 0.3mm, and ball pitch down to 0.7mm
? Aqueous Cleaning System for removal of water soluble fluxes & Vapor degreaser for RMA processes
? Automated UR, AR & XY coating
? Full system integration of assembled boxes, card cages, enclosures and chassis

All assemblies are built to IPC-610 Class 3.

Design for Manufacturability Services; “Program and Product Development partnerships”

DFM for assembly is essential for design success and must be addressed at product development. EEI offers guidelines and preferences in design for product to run most effectively through manufacturing equipment and processes. Items that are typically reviewed for design for assembly are the board envelope dimensions, edge clearances, part spacing, fiducials, array panelization, component layout and placement, solder stencils and any specific preferences for fine pitch components such BGAs, flip chip, etc.

EEI supplies products for Instrumentation, Aerospace/ Aviation, Ground Support, Communications, and Simulation. These products support flight critical, life support and emergency applications supporting the Warfighter.

Our current Customer base includes: Redstone Arsenal (ARMY), Fort Monmouth (ARMY), Warner Robins (AFB), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Alliant Techsystems, GE Avionics/UNISON, Lear, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin and Raytheon. Programs we are currently supporting include: AAR47 (Missile Warning Set), Sniper XR, CCTT (Close Combat Tactical Trainer), SMACM (Surveilling Miniature Attack Cruise (Missile) JASSM (Joint Air to Surface Standoff Missile), JCM (Joint Common Missiles), JSF (Joint strike Fighter), ST&T(Submarine Track and Trail), RT CASS (Consolidated Automatic Support System, Reconfigurable Transportable), Slickstart (Solid-state Magneto Start Booster ) & PC-IG (PC based image generators), Striker(Mark 47 Automatic Grenade Launcher)
