Additionally, you may explore other diverse opportunities in key areas of the business including product management, manufacturing, quality, operations, and more. Electrical Engineers at Lutron participate within a cross-functional team to conceptualize, design, and develop innovative, high-quality consumer products and services for commercial and residential use. There are a variety of technical areas throughout the product lifecycle that you could encounter from day one, such as:
- Analog circuit design, analysis, and verification
- Microcontroller and RF hardware implementation
- Power electronics, power supply design, and electric motors
- Use of active components such as power MOSFETs, thyristors, and integrated circuits
- Design for electromagnetic compatibility, noise immunity, and thermal dissipation
Responsibilities
- Design of circuits, including reliability analysis and testing
- Development of theoretical models, simulations, and prototypes
- Frequent collaboration with RF, mechanical, embedded, manufacturing, and supply chain engineers.
- Drive PCB (Printed Circuit Board) design process and product design reviews
- Design for global standards and regulations
- Development of technology for Lutron's world-class manufacturing plants
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electronics Engineering
- Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00 for each degree earned
- 0-3 years' experience in a related field
- Willingness to travel 5-10% of the time for inter-office collaboration, site visits, etc.
